of the Bay of Fundy
There's a lot to do in our region: sightseeing at the Hopewell Rocks and Cape Enrage, bird watching at Mary's Point, and hiking in Fundy National Park.
With the spectacular colours in the forest and on the marshes in the Fall, and snowmobiling in the winter, you can enjoy our region year round.
The Hopewell Rocks, one of New Brunswick's most
popular attractions, is a 10 minute drive from Riverside-Albert.
At Mary's Point thousands of sandpipers stop over during their migration to South America. Peak time to view the birds is late July to mid August.
The dramatic tides in the Bay of Fundy have created extensive marshes
and rich pasture along the coastline.
The resulting landscape is one of textured mudbanks, lush marsh grasses
and beautiful wildflowers.
Cape Enrage, about a 20 minute drive from the village has wonderful
views of the bay, and on sunny days, you can see across to Nova Scotia.
Fundy National Park offers you 120 km of hiking and biking trails,
campgrounds and picnic areas.
The park starts at the Bay of Fundy, and extends up to
the Caledonia Highlands: you can enjoy exploring the beaches, lush forest
trails, and back country hiking.
